Need help to get perfect Tamil font rendering

Hi,

while I am creating one of my content in tamil language , there is issue in rendering the style .Please check the attached image.

the english meaning was “Example” . Actually it need to be rendered as “எடுத்துக்காட்டு” . Whether it’s a system issue or app issue, help is needed very much . a solution or a work around within cinelerra app title plugin is appreciated . Today i spent time on almost all methods from internet. Awaiting . Thank you.

@kaviyarasu

Have you tried using unicode as documented in the above url (the two lines need to be put together) from the manual? It is more work for you, but at least it should be correct. Please reply to let me know if this works for you. Or email me at phylsmith2017@gmail.com.

@PhyllisSmith

For example, keyin Ctrl-Shift-U0B86 for Tamil AA

Thank you . I tried that method also . some letters which are not working with copy paste option, that letters also not working in unicode insertion.For example “டு” which uses two unicodes, it is just adding that unicode as shown in image the second letter,“L-o” , please check this image , it will convey better.

this entire two columns .Actually these unicodes “U+0BC1” “U+0BC2” need to add & also to bend the letter in its some areas but it is just getting added. That’s the problem. Anyhelp is appreciated. Thank you.

@kaviyarasu Just to let you know that I read your last note and still trying to see if there is any workaround. It looks dubious at this point but will keep looking.

Thank you for considering the last note.

@kaviyarasu

Unfortunately, I have found no solution - either in Cinelerra or looking on the internet to see if I could find something that might have been missed in your search.

But a workaround that might help is to use the Sketcher plugin to manually create the Tamil symbol yourself to use where it is needed. This involves quite a bit of work, but it could possibly be saved to use now and in the future. Let me know if that might be actually work for you.

Thankyou for the effort. Hope developers will consider this issue & give solution in upcoming cinelerra-gg version.As of now using inkscape.
