Does anyone know Voodoo Camera Tracking or other open source 3D tracking programs?
Is it better to use Blender?
I dont know much about Blender. Do you want to track an object or stabilize the image? Tracking objects is actually relatively easy with the Find Object plugin. All you have to do is insert an image, the object you want to track, and you can replace it with another one. I find it very easy to use.
